Provided assistance to a family raising a child with hearing impairment

A touching meeting with a family from Nizhnevartovsk — mother Mila and her daughter Eva — took place within the walls of the rehabilitation department of the ENT Research Institute. The girl is a carrier of a cochlear implant, which helps her perceive the sounds of the surrounding world.

Unfortunately, this family had to endure a terrible ordeal. In April, they suffered a great misfortune — a fire completely destroyed their house. Not only personal belongings perished in the fire, but also all the critical components of the cochlear implant system, without which Eva could not hear properly.

In this difficult situation, the family was not left alone with their grief. Specialists from the Azimut Med Group company and the I Hear the World! project — long-standing partners of the ENT Research Institute — came to the rescue. Thanks to their responsiveness and efficiency, Eva regained the ability to hear the world around her. The company provided all the necessary components for the speech processor to work.
